LWMC to Offer Free Blood Pressure Screenings

Lake Wales, FL (January 7, 2011) – As part of its Live Well! program, Lake Wales Medical Center will offer free blood pressure screenings on Tuesday, Jan. 11, from 9 to 11 a.m.. The screenings will be offered in Room 201 of the Hunt Building at the hospital, 410 S. 11th Street. Appointments are not necessary. High blood pressure usually has no symptoms, and people, can have it without knowing it. About one in three adults in the U.S. have high blood pressure.
