There are lots of exciting things happening here at Lake Wales Medical Center. When you, a family member or a loved one are having a medical emergency, you want to be able to trust that the staff at the emergency room is going to provide excellent care, quickly. Our new 30-Minutes-or-Less Service Pledge launching June 1 helps ensure you and your family members not only get excellent care, but you get it quickly. More details coming soon!

Continuing our commitment to providing excellent care to our community, we recently earned the Gold Award from the American Heart Association for treatment of patients with heart failure. For us, it’s a reason to celebrate. For you, it’s a reason to relax and know that you’re going to receive great care when you come to Lake Wales Medical Center.

We also are continuing our Mall Walkers program, in partnership with Eagle Ridge Mall. The program has nearly 300 participants who are focused on staying active and staying healthy. We hope you’ll consider joining that program as well.

We continue to focus on making sure our patients are very satisfied with the care they receive here at the hospital. When you’re a patient here, you can expect a member of your nursing team to round on you every hour, and you may also receive a visit from a member of our management or administrative team. We want to make sure we’re doing everything possible to make your stay here the best it can be.
